Renmark Paringa Council's Volunteer Recognition Program and Event 20 May 2024

Renmark Paringa Council will host its annual Volunteer Recognition Program Morning Tea at Hotel Renmark's Function Room on Monday 20 May 10.30am-11.30am. Those who have been nominated will be invited to the Morning Tea and be presented with a certificate of appreciation and a small gift from Mayor Peter Hunter in recognition of their contribution to volunteering in the community.

Community members are offered the opportunity to recognise any volunteer from the Renmark Paringa area by nominating or self-nominating in any of the three categories as listed below.

If you know someone who has been volunteering at their club/organisation/group/school etc for many years or has made a significant contribution please consider nominating them for recognition and acknowledgement for all that they do in our community.

Volunteering in the Renmark Paringa Community

I'm a club looking for Volunteers

Does your community group/club/organisation rely on the valuable contribution made by volunteers? Are you struggling to recruit volunteers? Or are your current volunteers feeling burnt out and you would like some more? Renmark Paringa Council want to help. We want to provide a platform for organisations who need volunteers to promote themselves on.

Council will use this volunteering page on the Council website to promote community groups/clubs/organisations in our Council area who utilise the amazing skills of volunteers in order to thrive. We will promote this page via our communication channels to advise people that this is where they can go to learn what community groups are active in the community and where they could have the opportunity to volunteer.

Renmark Paringa has a strong volunteering culture and we want to showcase all the wonderful opportunities for people to get involved with.

• Name of your community group/club/organisation;
• Address of where your community group/club/organisation takes place;
• Contact details for your community group/club/organisation (contact name, phone number and email address);
• Volunteer opportunities your community group/club/organisation currently has (eg committee member, secretary, coaching, yard maintenance, cooking, umpiring, delivery driver, customer service, marketing and promotion/social media, general volunteering).
• Any other relevant information.
