Roads
Council has an extensive road network of 313 kilometres of sealed roads and 267 kilometres of unsealed roads within the three towns of Renmark, Paringa and Lyrup.
Council is required under Section 231 of the Local Government Act 1999 to provide a register of public roads within our Council boundaries. This register is available to view electronically here or at the Civic Centre, Eighteenth Street.
Road Upgrades
Reseals, New Sealing and Resheeting work is undertaken throughout our district on a priority basis and is outlined in our Infrastructure and Asset Management Plan. This document can be found on the Strategic Documents page.
Council’s major road upgrade being undertaken currently is the Government Road Strategic Freight route, please refer to the projects page for more information and regular updates.
