Renmark Paringa Council Invites the Community to have their Say on Paringa’s Nature Play
Renmark Paringa Council is excited to announce the commencement of a community engagement opportunity aimed at shaping the future of a new nature play space in Paringa.
Council conducted community engagement in 2022 for the ‘Paringa Place Plan’ with the aim to beautify and upgrade the town centre. The community were given the opportunity to provide feedback with a number of projects identified with a nature play space identified as a priority.
Council have taken this feedback on board to develop a design for the new nature play space incorporated within the Paringa Place Plan which will include sensory and natural elements, shade, seating, soft fall, wide accessible paths and will be fully fenced.
As part of the upcoming community engagement opportunity the community will be able to have their say on whether Council have got the design right, what their level of support is for the design and be able to vote on some of the different elements to be included within the design.
Community engagement will be undertaken from Wednesday 14 February until COB Tuesday 27 February 2024.
The community will be able to submit their feedback via the online survey or alternatively they can submit their feedback in person or via email to council@renmarkparinga.sa.gov.au

‘We are excited to provide significant improvements to the town centre at Paringa, which will include upgraded toilets, a redeveloped central area and a new nature play space. We are particularly keen to collaborate with the community on the new nature play space’
