Community Grants Open till 10am 8 July

Renmark Paringa Council’s 2024/25 Grants and Sponsorship Program - Extended to 8 July
Renmark Paringa Council’s Community Grants Program, Community Support Funding and Event Sponsorship Program will remain open till Monday 10am 8 July. Due to the connectivity issues Council has experienced due to a major Telstra outage, Council has kept its current round open to allow community Clubs and Groups more time to submit an application.

1. The Community Grants Program offers grants of up to $4,000 for eligible community organisations to assist with funding a variety of projects that are of benefit to their organisation as well as the wider Renmark Paringa community.
   Past projects that have been funded have included renovations/infrastructure/extensions (e.g., kitchen equipment, fencing, air conditioning, security cameras, ramps for accessibility, internal/external blinds, window shades, shelters); new equipment such as sporting, gardening, safety, BBQs; publication of club history book; costs towards venue hire, guest speaker, equipment for community programs/training sessions; new furniture and asset protection.
2. Community Support Funding offers funding of up to $5,000 per financial year for the duration of the Council term to support local initiatives conducted by not-for-profit organisations in developing community service projects, social welfare and other community purposes.
3. The Event Sponsorship Program offers funding of up to $5,000 for new and existing events and may include cash or in-kind contributions or a combination of both to the approved amount. The program aims to support eligible organisations and commercial entities in the delivery of financially sustainable events, to attract and develop new events in our district and to support events that deliver economic, experiential, and social outcomes for our community.

The Youth Sponsorship Program aims to provide financial assistance to support and encourage young people to undertake skill development in competitions, events, or programs in their chosen field within the state, nationally and internationally. This program is open for applications all year round or until the budget allocation is exhausted.
