2024 Australia Day Award Nominations Now Open

Renmark Paringa Council is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2024 Australia Day Citizen of the Year Awards are now open!

The Awards aim to recognise and award individuals and groups who have made an outstanding contribution to the Renmark, Paringa and Lyrup communities at an Australia Day Awards celebration.

The Awards provide residents with the opportunity to amplify someone’s story and contributions, and tell us about who they are, what they've achieved and why they'd like to see them recognised.

The Awards are provided by the Australia Day Council of South Australia but are administered by Council.

There are four available Award categories in 2024 which are; Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year and Active Citizenship Award.
