Winter Glow returns to Renmark Riverfront

Renmark’s Riverfront will come alive with colour, light and family fun these school holidays as Winter Glow returns on Saturday 4 July from 4pm to 9pm.

This free community event invites locals and visitors to embrace the magic of winter with an enchanting evening of interactive entertainment, dazzling fire performances and family friendly activities set on the beautiful Renmark Riverfront.

Locals and visitors can create and decorate their own glowing lanterns, dance along with the roving silent disco, challenge family and friends to giant lawn games and enjoy face painting (for a small fee).

Adding to the atmosphere, experienced fire performers will captivate audiences throughout the evening with a series of mesmerising shows, while live music from After Dark Entertainment provides the perfect soundtrack for a memorable winter’s night.

Attendees can warm up beside the fire buckets, indulge in delicious offerings from local food vendors and enjoy refreshments from the Sip ‘n’ Tow Bar while soaking up the vibrant riverfront atmosphere under the stars.

Quotes attributable to Renmark Paringa Mayor Peter Hunter:

“Winter can be a quieter time of year, which is why events like Winter Glow are so important. They provide an opportunity for people to get out, connect with one another and enjoy our beautiful riverfront in a different way.”

“Following the success of Winter Wine Down earlier this month, Winter Glow continues to create opportunities for our community to come together during the cooler months and enjoy shared experiences with family and friends.”

“Council is proud to support events that strengthen community connection, activate our public spaces and provide opportunities for residents and visitors to experience everything our region has to offer.”

Winter Glow is free to attend and suitable for all ages. No tickets are required.
