Renmark netball courts update

Renmark Paringa Council recently shared news about the resurfacing and lighting upgrade of the Renmark netball courts at the Renmark Sporting Complex, an important project supporting local sport and encouraging participation for women and girls in our community.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the project has experienced delays and the courts will not be ready for the 2026 netball season as originally planned.

Council understands it is disappointing for the Renmark Netball Club, its players, volunteers, and the wider netball community, especially with the season beginning tomorrow.

Council thanks the Renmark Netball Club for their patience, and ongoing commitment to the sport and the community.

Your dedication to creating opportunities for women and girls to participate, connect, and thrive is truly valued. Works are continuing, and it is expected that a few more weeks will be required to complete the project.

Council is working closely with contractors to ensure the upgrades are delivered to a high standard as soon as possible. Renmark Paringa Council wish all players, teams, and supporters the very best for the season ahead, good luck to everyone kicking off their season tonight and tomorrow!
