Have your say on 2026/27 priorities
Renmark Paringa Council is inviting residents to provide input into its 2026/27 Annual Business Plan and Budget, encouraging the community to share what matters most to them.
Council is currently preparing its 2026/27 Annual Business Plan and Budget as part of its integrated planning process, which also includes the Long Term Financial Plan and Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan. Together, these documents guide how Council delivers services, maintains and renews infrastructure, and ensures long-term financial sustainability.
Each year, Council carefully considers how limited resources are allocated to deliver the services and infrastructure the community relies on. With rising costs, ageing assets and competing priorities, not every project can be funded at once, making community input critical in determining priorities.
Council is asking residents to consider:
* What matters most to you?
* Where should Council focus its efforts?
* How should priorities, service levels and affordability be balanced?
As part of the engagement process, community members can complete an online survey featuring an interactive $100 “spend it” exercise, allowing participants to allocate funding across Council services based on their own priorities.
The exercise provides a practical and engaging way for residents to demonstrate how they would prioritise spending. Feedback received will directly inform Council’s planning and decision-making for 2026/27 and beyond.
Consultation closes on Monday 9 March 2026.
