Free workshop to help build a more inclusive Riverland

Published 2nd November 2026

Riverland clubs, community groups, businesses and event organisers are invited to attend a free disability inclusion information session to build their confidence and capability in creating more inclusive and accessible environments.

Hosted by the three Riverland councils and presented by JFA Purple Orange, the session will be led by people with disability, sharing real-life experiences, valuable insights and practical examples to help participants understand how they can make a positive difference in their communities.

With at least 8% of the Riverland community identifying as having a disability, the session is an opportunity to build knowledge, challenge attitudes and take meaningful steps towards greater inclusion.
