State Active Citizen of the Year
Our very own Neil Martinson has been awarded the state title for Active Citizen of the Year!
Neil progressed through to the state honours after being named the Renmark Paringa Active Citizen of the Year last month. Neil received the honour at a ceremony in Adelaide on Thursday, 27 February at Parliament House alongside his loved ones.
Neil has volunteered for numerous groups over the past four decades, as well as serving as Renmark Paringa Mayor for four terms.
Most recently Neil has played an enormous part in reviving the Renmark Christmas Pageant, which is a much-loved event for our community.
Congratulations Neil! We are so proud to see you recognised and celebrated at a state level.
