Renmark's Christmas on the Murray Festival Returns in 2023
Renmark Paringa Council is pleased to announce the highly anticipated return of Renmark’s Christmas on the Murray Festival in 2023.
The beloved annual event promises to bring alive the festive Christmas spirit, with a delightful array of festive activities and entertainment for all ages.
Scheduled to take place for the whole month of December, Renmark’s Christmas on the Murray Festival 2023 aims to spread joy and merriment throughout the town during the festive season. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before, offering an exciting line-up of programs and events that will appeal to locals and visitors alike.
The program for Renmark’s Christmas on the Murray Festival 2023 will feature all your favourite festive events plus some exciting new events hosted by Council.
One of the new initiatives in the program is Perform in the Precinct, an exciting addition to the festival program that has been established to provide an opportunity for our community to showcase their talents and bring some FREE festive cheer to the town centre.
Perform in the Precinct will run nightly during the first week of the school holidays and Council is encouraging singers, musicians, poets, dancers, speakers, or any other creative performers to get involved. Please contact Council’s Events Team for more details on how you can become involved!

Friday 15, December, 5pm | Game On and Festive Flix | Celebrate the start of the school holidays with a FREE family fun night featuring mini golf, giant lawn and interactive games plus outdoor festive movie screenings and food trucks. Included in the program are several community run events and activities, which include the Renmark Christmas Pageant, Carols in the Garden, Chaffey Theatre Big Band Bash, Belgravia Pool Day, and a Santa themed Park Run to name a few.
Mayor Peter Hunter has expressed his enthusiasm for the festival, saying ‘we are overjoyed to bring back Renmark’s Christmas on the Murray Festival in 2023. After the challenges we faced last year with the scaling back of the festival due to the River Murray Flood, it is exciting to be able to come together, celebrate and enjoy Christmas once again.’
