Baby Playgroup

A new weekly Baby Playgroup partnership program is now being offered at the library for babies aged 0–2 years. Provided by the Department for Education, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology Program at Renmark Children’s Centre and facilitated by occupational therapist Chelsea, the program offers a welcoming environment for families to engage in songs, stories and play activities that support babies’ early learning and development while encouraging positive interactions between babies and their caregivers. The program has proved to be successful with 57 babies and toddlers attending in the first month. Baby Playgroup is held on Tuesday mornings at 10am during school terms only.
