Got a great event idea? Let’s make it shine

Renmark Paringa Council is inviting community organisations, businesses and event organisers to apply for support through its 2026/27 Event Sponsorship Program.

The program provides an opportunity for eligible organisations and commercial event organisers to access up to $5,000 in combined cash and in-kind support to help deliver events across the Renmark Paringa district.

Council is seeking to support events that strengthen community connections, contribute to the local economy and enhance the district as a desirable place to live, work and visit.

Applications are now open and close at 5pm on Monday 31 August 2026.

Renmark Paringa Mayor Peter Hunter said community events make an important contribution to the district and Council appreciates the effort that goes into creating them.

“Community events play an important role in bringing people together, creating opportunities for local businesses and showcasing the people, places and experiences that make the Renmark Paringa district special,” he said.

“Council recognises the time, energy and heart that local groups, volunteers and event organisers put into creating these opportunities for our community, often behind the scenes and alongside their other commitments.

“Whether it’s a small community gathering or a larger event attracting visitors to the region, these events can make a real difference to our community and local economy.

“We look forward to seeing the ideas and inspiration that local groups and event organisers have and to supporting community events through the Event Sponsorship Program.”
