Volunteering with Renmark Paringa Council

There is a range of volunteering opportunities available through the Renmark Paringa Council, whether it is at the Public Library, the Visitor Information Centre or the Chaffey Community Centre.

Volunteers contribute to a vibrant community life.

Council values and appreciates the expertise, time and energy volunteers provide to the various projects and programs which ultimately benefit the Renmark and Paringa communities.

National Volunteers Week 2020 Recognition

National Volunteer Week is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers.

Renmark Paringa Council recognises and acknowledges the contribution volunteers make in our community and encourages community members to nominate people in the Renmark Paringa council area for ‘National Volunteer Week Recognition’.

There are three categories which include;

•  Service recognition for those who have been volunteering at one club for 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years plus.

•  Significant contribution for those who have made a noteworthy contribution to the club/group they are involved in.

•  Club event or project recognition for those who have assisted with organising a significant event or project at their club/group.  The event or project must have been held during the past year 2019 in the Renmark Paringa area.

Do you know someone who has been volunteering at their club for a number of years or has made a significant contribution to their club? Nominate them for recognition and acknowledgement for all that they do in our community. See nomination form below.

Forms are to be submitted to council by 5.00pm Friday 3 April 2020.

A certificate of recognition will be presented to all individuals and groups nominated at an event to be held at the Renmark Paringa Council Chambers in May on Wednesday 20 May 2020.
