Major Projects
Each year, the Renmark Paringa Council delivers multiple projects to support our communities.
As part of our annual budget process, our elected members endorse which projects will be funded from the council’s Project and Capital Works Program which are driven by Council’s Infrastructure and Asset Management Plan.
This includes buildings, carparks, footpaths, open space, roads and many more.
The need for individual projects are identified in various ways including:
- community needs and expectations, as described in our Community Plan
- council strategies, policies and plans developed with input from our community
- response to legislative requirements
- response to state strategic planning and investment
This page is provided to share some summary information and updates about some of current projects underway.
Council considers any project undertaken with a value of $1 million or more to be of major significance to the community.
