Renmark Paringa Council is committed to communicating with, involving, considering the views of and building relationships with its community and stakeholders through engagement and consultation. In line with Councils commitment, Renmark Paringa Council will use the most appropriate tools and technology to engage, communicate and consult with the community and relevant stakeholders. Renmark Paringa Council utilises various elements adapted from the International Association for Public Participation model (IAP2) Public Participation Spectrum to address the key elements of both communication and consultation. Jensen V.C. Memorial Park 

Renmark Paringa Council is currently seeking feedback on the official naming of Jensen V.C. Memorial Park.

Council has received a request to name the park containing the Cross of Sacrifice ‘Jensen V.C. Memorial Park’ to honour Corporal Jensen, the only Victoria Cross recipient whom enlisted in Renmark during World War I.

A copy of the document can be obtained here or by visiting the Council Office at 61 Eighteenth Street Renmark.

Written submissions are invited from the public and should be directed to Director Infrastructure and Environmental Services, PO Box 730 or emailed to council@renmarkparinga.sa.gov.au by close of business 3 July 2019.

Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget 2019/20

AnchorRenmark Paringa Council’s Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget 2019/20 (Draft ABP and Budget) is available to view here and we want to hear from you. 

The Draft ABP and Budget outlines how Council will allocate its budget and what services, programs and projects will be delivered in the coming financial year to contribute to achieving the community’s long term objectives.

All submissions must be received by Council before 12 noon Friday 21 June 2019. The Draft ABP and Budget can be found on Council's website in addition to the Community and Civic Centre, the Chaffey Community Centre, the Renmark Public Library and the Visitor Information Centre.

Your feedback will be collected and collated as part of this process and will be considered by Council.
A Special Meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday 25 June 2019 commencing at 5:30pm at the Community and Civic Centre, to provide members of the public with an opportunity to ask questions or make submissions in relation to the Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget. A period of one hour from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm will be made available for this purpose. This period may be extended at the discretion of the Council where the number of persons wanting to make a submission requires that action to be taken.
