Join the library

Becoming a Library member is easy and free. Anybody of any age is welcome to join. If you are under 18 years of age you will require a guarantor.

To join the library you need to:

  • Show personal identification with your current address
  • Bring in a parent or guardian if you are under 18 years of age
  • Agree to comply with library policies and regulations.

If you are visiting South Australia and would like to use the library on your travels, bring in some photo ID to join. A small fully refundable deposit is required to borrow.

Your membership also includes access to computer services (including wireless).

Computer facilities and printing/scanning

PC’s are provided for free use. You can book ahead by phone on 85865544.

Printing and Photocopying is available at a small cost.

Printing from and scanning to your USB is available. The Library has USBs available for purchase.

Free Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the library.

Join the Public-Library-RF network and connect with the password PublicLibrary

  • Your device should then present you with an authentication page
  • Login with your Library Card Number and pin.

Online resources

Access a world of information and recreation through a collection of free online databases. These include eBooks, eMagazines, IT and online training, reference and family history. Almost all can be used from home or anywhere else where you can access the internet. All you need is your library card and PIN
