Renmark Paringa Council has engaged Mapping Services SA to develop an interactive map to advise community members and visitors as to Council’s response to the rising River Murray levels.
The map illustrates water inundation as it is occurring, therefore it will increase and decrease following the flow at the border advice. Street names are also searchable in the map and its intended purpose is to demonstrate to the community infrastructure which Renmark Paringa Council has installed, removed or would like the community and visitors to be aware of.

The Interactive Map illustrates the following:

  • Renmark, Paringa and Lyrup Levee Bank Network which is 38 kilometers. It identifies where works have been completed at each levee segments and where works are currently taking place.
  • Roads and Boat Ramps which have been impacted by the Rising River Murray levels.
  • Recreational areas which have been impacted by the Rising River Murray levels.
