Expression of Interest – Tourism Opportunity

Renmark Paringa Council is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for an exciting new tourism opportunity.

Local business owners can now promote their business on vacant shop front windows within the Renmark town centre. Businesses can advertise by the way of a banner covering the window front with an image/logo and contact details.

Council’s role:

Costs of the graphic banners will be required to be paid up front by the advertising business owner to Rivergraphics; however Council will provide prorata insurance for the first 6 months to the value of $600.

Prorata insurance will come in to effect if the shop that has a banner, becomes leased within the first 6 months of the banner being installed. If this occurs, Council will pay a portion of the cost to have the banner installed on another shop front window if available or provide a prorata refund.

Council has received approval from shop owners to have graphic banners installed in the front windows of their vacant shops.

The following shops are available;

  1. Old Healthwise Pharmacy (1250 x 4200mm) = $700 ex GST
  2. Old Vaughan’s Shoe store (1250 x 4670mm) = $800 ex GST
  3. Old Tri State Graphics 2 x (1250 x 2950mm) = $1,100 ex GST

Advertising Business role:

All banners will be designed by the business owner and Rivergraphics, an example of banners can be found in image 1 (below).

Further information regarding this process can be found in Council report 18.1.2 – Renmark Town Centre retail shop precinct, a copy of the agenda can be found here.
