Small Craft Marina – Registration of Interest

Renmark Paringa Council is currently seeking Registrations of Interest for up to 6 new mooring sites in the Jane Eliza Small Craft Marina. The moorings will be 6 metres wide and 12 metres long, with boats no wider than 4 metres wide by 10 metres long being accepted. This type of mooring is to cater for ‘BBQ’ type boats or similar small craft.

Key information regarding the proposed moorings;

  • A one off non-refundable up front payment of $3,000 ex GST is required to secure the mooring – This is a contribution towards the full cost of the mooring creation
  • An annual mooring fee of $633 – please note this is subject to change with the annual Fees & Charges review
  • The mooring license is an annual permit which is subject to terms and conditions
  • No commercial operations will be conducted from these new moorings
  • The mooring does not allow sleeping overnight on the Vessel
  • The new moorings will not be powered
  • Sheds are not permitted
  • Bins or other transportable materials are not to be left on the hard stand area in front of the moorings
  • Car parking is allowed on the hardstand area to the width of the moorings (6 metres) ensuring that the right of way access is clear

 *Note – Applications will be selected on a first in first served basis and no application may be accepted depending on interest level.
