Riverland Young Professionals is a project managed in collaboration between Renmark Paringa Council, Berri Barmera Council, and District Council of Loxton Waikerie.

Riverland Young Professionals is a network for young people (under 35) in the Riverland, created to improve the sustainability of the region through better social cohesion amongst young people. The network is open to service and trades employees as well as professionals, and recognises all vocations as an integral part of the local economy and community.

We aim to plan, promote and host networking events within the region to facilitate networking of young people, with a focus on improving the social outcomes for attendees.  While events may have a professional development theme, the principal aim of the project is to provide an opportunity for young people to develop their social network within the region.

Riverland Young Professionals Event 13 June 2018

The Riverland Young Professionals event on June 13 will focus on hearing the stories of those who have moved to the Region or returned and how they have made a life for themselves both professionally and personally. We want to hear about the challenges, the highs and the lows to ensure that attendees understand that the feeling of anxiety or uncertainty as to where their life is progressing is common and relatable. We also hope that this event will connect young professionals in the community and create social links through friendship and industry.
